Zoroastrian horoscopeThe Zoroastrian Calendar is the solar calendar used by followers of Zoroastrianism in religious and community life. It is based on a sequence of 12 thirty-day months, in which every day is named after one or another entity respected in Zoroastrianism: Ahura Mazda, Amesha Spentas and Yazatas. A distinctive feature of the calendar is the absence of the concept of the week. In ancient times, the Zoroastrian calendar was widely distributed in Iran, Central and Minor Asia. In modern Iran, its successor is the Iranian calendar.

The mythology of Zoroastrians influenced astrology and formed the basis for the creation of various horoscopes, including the Zoroastrian proper, associated with a thirty-two-year cycle. Since each year is assigned a patron – an animal or a bird – this horoscope is also called as totemic.

The peculiarity of the Zoroastrian horoscope is that it gives the totem a practically unlimited power over a person, the determining factor for success is that a person should try to resemble his totem, and not try to change his weaknesses or correct his behavior. In addition, the Zoroastrian horoscope suggests some external similarity between a person and his totem, which is also a favorable factor for further destiny.

People are born the good and the bad; in the Zoroastrian horoscope, we see, respectively, the totem, endowing with positive qualities, and the antitotem, endowing with negative qualities. Of course, in one person, the features of a totem and an antitoteme may appear; it is also possible the birth of a person with a neutral character.

The beginning of the year according to the Zoroastrian horoscope - March 21. On this day, the Sun comes under the influence of Aries - the first sign of the zodiac. This date is used in other astrological systems, however, it is believed that the founders of the Zoroastrian horoscope were the pioneers of it. People born in January-March (until March 20) are influenced by the totem of the previous year.

According to the Gregorian calendar, it is customary to meet the New Year with "first-born fire" - salutes, sparklers, etc., and the sign of Aries, which begins on March 21, belongs to the element of fire. The first day of the new year is associated with the 1st degree of Aries. This is a degree of great strength, or, a degree of karmic debt. On this day, it is also customary to launch salutes and blow up various pyrotechnics, burning devils, demons and everything negative in the fire, replenishing their energy reserves.
